ENDA, a Grameen Foundation partner and influential MFI in the MENA region began their Mifos deployment in March 2007.  A true pioneer for the industry, ENDA, guided by the Mifos technology will deliver more innovative and impactful services and establish and further best practices to guide other MENA-region MFIs.

They worked extensively with Oxia and ThoughtWorks to build several new features and customizations to support their operational requirements including extensive data migration, localization into French, enhanced individual lending to support the teller model, and group lending with individual monitoring.   For a list of ENDA feature requirements, please click here.

Mifos Program Manager, Ryan Whitney, has been on location at ENDA for several months, helping to manage their deployment and ensure its success.   The staff at ENDA has been exceptional in preparing and putting in practice extensive training throughout their organization.  Their 5-branch pilot rollout commenced in November with all 50 branches being targeted for full production by April 2009.
