Grameen Koota, based in Bangalore, India serves over 170,000 clients and played a pioneering role as the first Mifos deployment. They've been running Mifos fully in production since October 2007 and have since opened 31 additional branches as part of their goals to reach one million clients by 2012.

Jitegemea Credit Scheme, one of our first lighthouse partners, has been working to alleviate poverty for the communities of Nairobi, Kenya since 1998. Working with Adept Systems, they've been successfully running Mifos in production as of November. Transitioning from a completely manual system, Mifos has helped extend their reach and grow to 7,000 clients.

Magnus Consulting Group has been one of the most active members of our community. With a focus on providing social transformation through information & communication technology to the rural and underdeveloped sectors of Nepal, they’re leading the deployment of Mifos at two MFIs reaching over 80,000 clients combined and have contributed a new interest rate calculation methodology that was included in Mifos 1.1.

Now serving more than 75,000 clients across 50 branches, ENDA has fully adapted Mifos to their needs and is rolling it out across their first branches in November.
